Fascinated by the Accomplisments of Engineers

A recent trip to the city has left me with a fascination for steel design. Many of the buildings in the city were build over 40 years ago, and they’re still marvels for me to see in person. They are the pinnacle of what I consider to be modern construction. I wish I was alive to see what kind of planning was going on when the architects and engineers decided to make those buildings. I bet they had a lot of creative differences on some things, but were able to come together to create a product that would be admired for years.

I want to take part in the design of a building someday. I’m in my late 20s, but with enough time, I can become a skill engineer and designer. There are some improvements that could be made to the buildings to make them a little more modern, and I think that I can help with that. I also have an idea for a building that could be used as a multi level mall. The building would have space for every kind of retail product sold on the market, from cosmetics to electronics. In a way, the building is like a big box store, but taller.

The road to being an engineer isn’t one that will be easy. I’ll have to put in a lot of work and long hours of studying to learn everything that an engineer does. The same applies for becoming a designer. I’ll be lucky if I can find enough time to sleep, but I’ll go through it if it means that I can live out my dream. It will all be worth it once I reach the end and start working on my first building. Maybe I can become as well known as some of the other big names.
